Even though it is her music I'm obsessed with, I think it is largely because of her. She's fascinating, in that I know nothing of her. Unlike you know The Lady, or anyone Kardashian. I'm sure that I could google away, and dig up some dirt, watch some interviews, but I really don't want to. Everything I want to hear is right there, in her music. She has the most amazing voice, but I never feel like she overdoes it. She's so horribly interesting, but I feel like I know enough. She comes across completely eccentric, and still conservative in her dress sense, yet inexplicably retains a relatability to her. I do not want to know her or befriend her like Adele, her vulnerability does not overpower her songs. There is vulnerability and raw emotion, yet her songs on first listen always translate so ethereal.
I don't know how she does it.
So much love for her, I just wanted to share it.
