I seem to be obsessing a lot lately....

Current clothing obsessions -

Seemingly any Elie Saab creation from the last 18 months.

Beautiful waistline.
So floaty, so romantic, and so beautiful. Emma Watson looked beautiful last night, but I remember being obsessed with the Autumn/Winter collection last year too. So much attention to detail, and beautiful silhouettes. So flattering, and not afraid to use lots of material. Although this I imagine means they only suit the stick thin catwalk models, and make everyone else look like
the Michelin Man.

Vintage Gianni Versace shirts Gaga is showcasing so much these days. They're quirky, and if she ever decided to wear some pants they'd look really cute with a pair of ankle grazing navy skinnies.

Maybe it's to complement my court shoe obsession, but I'm also obsessing over workwear. I adore cigarette pants atm, and I'm on  the look out for a really flattering, well-structured pencil skirt. Now that I think about it, I have Annie to blame. Standard. All because of that skirt she borrowed for her interview; horribly overdressed for lectures, but incredibly professional looking. No wonder she got the place ;) Probably too much for a Pizza Hut interview right?

If you couldn't already tell, I'm a fan of structure and tailoring, but also of interesting and romantic. Most of the time, these things are completely contrasting, and where they're not, they're not done right. So irritating when you see that dress in a shop that you just know you could have done better, and it would've taken less effort than for them to have done it wrong.  Rage.

Super bleach denim, and yet I don't own any. It's so light that the wash easily makes you look fat in a skinny jean, and it's so difficult to find in a nice pair of shorts, or a jacket that everyone else doesn't already own!

Thought I'd also compile a short list of things I despise, mostly just to restore some balance, can't dish out too much love in one post!

  • My denim shorts obsession, is coming to an end. The sister is stealing my t shirts, and so I am seriously lacking in things to wear with them.
  • 90's fashion - I swear I don't remember everything being so ill-fitting. Cher is still a fashion disaster.
  • Double denim - just ewwwww. There is only one exception where this rule can even consider being broken, and that's if your jeans are funky coloured. Otherwise, just no
Rant over.
